Anna Tamir – Counsel With Over 15 Years of Experience
Anna’s focus is on professional liability, commercial disputes, employment law, insurance claims and estates litigation. Anna graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2007 with an LL.B degree, and then in September of 2008 she became licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. She offers clear advice, effective advocacy, and strategies designed to save clients time and money. A significant number of our files come through direct referrals, which is a proof of the results we deliver and the trust we’ve earned.

Our Practice Areas:
Professional Discipline/ Regulatory Defense
We defend licensed professionals facing complaints, investigations, and discipline before regulators such as CPSO, RCDSO, CNO, LSO, CICC, and OCT. Whether you are a physician, nurse, healthcare provider, paralegal, lawyer, teacher, finance professional, or any other regulated practitioner, your license is your livelihood. We treat it that way, with clear advice, responses, and advocacy to protect reputation, reduce risk, and resolve matters. Learn more …
Employment Law
Whether you’re an employee facing termination or an employer managing a difficult workplace issue, employment law is full of risks and opportunities. From severance pay and wrongful dismissal to contracts, policies, and workplace disputes, we help you navigate what applies, what matters, and what to do next. Clear advice, strategic thinking, and focused action for both sides of the table. Learn more…
Commercial/ Business Litigation
We represent businesses and professionals in a wide range of commercial disputes. Whether you’re confronting a contract breach, a partnership breakdown, fraud allegations, shareholder oppression, or a multi-party legal battle, we deliver strategic, results driven advocacy. Our approach combines risk assessment, decisive negotiation, and efficient litigation to protect cash flow, preserve relationships when possible, and advance your vital financial and legal interests. Denied insurance claims
Insurers often say no first, hoping you’ll give up. We step in when valid claims are denied – life, fire, property damage, business interruption, or water loss. If an insurer drags its feet, lowballs, or hides behind fine print, we push back fast. We read policies, marshal evidence, and negotiate or litigate so coverage promised becomes coverage delivered for individuals and small businesses. Learn more…
Other types of civil litigation
We also handle other types of civil litigation, including construction law and estates disputes. We prosecute and defend claims over delays, deficiencies, liens, and payment holdbacks, and resolve executor, trustee, and beneficiary conflicts, will challenges, and power-of-attorney misuse. We also litigate real estate breaches and professional negligence, delivering practical strategy, clear communication, and focused, cost-sensible results for clients.
Our Price List:
Hourly rate
Our hourly fees start at $320 per hour plus HST, with a one-hour minimum. Final amounts are adjusted up or down based on the complexity, urgency, and scope of your matter. We’ll discuss a budget up front and keep you updated. Repeat clients always receive preferred pricing, with meaningful discounts applied to ongoing or recurring work and referrals.
Free initial consultation
We offer free initial chats on most matters. The purpose of these is to figure out whether we can offer you assistance, the type of that assistance and its costs. You will walk away with a better understanding of your case and what you need to do to resolve it. Normally we do not offer free legal advice.
Flexible payments
Interest-free payment plans and deferred payment options are available on selected matters. We’ll discuss eligibility, timing, and documentation up front. Sometimes a lawyer isn’t necessary. If that’s true for you, we’ll say so at the start and explain why, then point you to practical next steps, like self-help resources, templates, or a referral, so you can proceed confidently with clear direction.
